Graduate student at Appalachian State University and faraway Michigan native, with an infectious smile Sam Fanthorpe brings an old time country western sound with his solo guitar to the arounds at which he plays his music in Boone. A deeped voice often accompanies words by Johnny Cash, Kris Kristopherson, and other known (and sometimes more obscure) and tested western souls.
